On 26 & 27 September 2015 the first Scholarship Programme Workshop was held in Hoi An. The meeting brought together 7 graduates, 3 current scholars, 3 volunteers and 2 representatives of the Centre for Training and Community Development, a partner charity. This was the first ever gathering of those involved in the programme It offered a chance for participants to get to know one another better in a friendly, informal atmosphere and to discuss the future of the programme.
Engraved quaichs were presented to our three most recent graduates: Nguyen Van Bang, Tran Trong Nhan, and Tran Trong Luc, all of the Hue University of Medicine.
The workshop discussion generated many useful ideas for improving and augmenting the scholarship programme.
It is hoped that a similar meeting can be held next year.
